Friendship Day Poem for a high school bestie

Personal Poems, Poems for friends
Happy Friendship Day poem for a childhood Friend who met during high school. Both young mothers now and continents apart but continue to cherish the time they spent together!
In the halls of high school, we first met,
Different individually but friendship was set.
<Name>, my bestie, an angel to me that God sent,
Happy Friendship Day, my dear childhood friend.

We sang, played and danced, our voices very clear,
In harmony and sync, our spirits drew near.
Together we cycled, exploring the way,
Creating memories that shine even today.

<Name>, my BFF, you've taught me so much,
To be warm and smiling, excited about life as such.
To be frank and honest, in all that we say,
And rub off the past, to live in the present day.

As life gets busy and days turn to years,
Our bond grows stronger, dispelling distances and fears.
Wanting to be back in time, the feeling comes, it always does,
And now we're both mothers, with cute little ones we fuss.
